If you take a taxi from Beijing Capital
Airport, only take authorized taxis from the taxi station.
It takes approximately 40 minutes by taxi from Beijing
Capital International Airport to the city central. (Tian
An men, Great Hall People, Raffles Hotel and Grand Hyatt
Hotel)
The taxi fee starts from RMB 10; however the meter will
start to run after 4 kilometers and you will be charge
RMB 2 per kilometer. If your journey is between 10:00
p.m. and 5:00a.m., the meter will automatically charge
you an extra 20%. Furthermore, a toll road fee and parking
fee are charged to the passenger, and a charge for a return
ride occurs if a journey is over 15 kilometers. Never
forget to ask for an invoice which details the registration
plate number and the car company as well as its telephone
number, for use in the event of a complaint or loss of
valuables. |
