The EU-Africa Business Summit 2007
will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on the occasion of the
2nd EU/Africa political Summit, in the framework
of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union.
The Business Summit is organized by the Portuguese Industrial
Association - Business Confederation (AIP-CE), the Confederation
of Portuguese Industries (CIP), BUSINESSEUROPE, and the
PAN AFRICAN Employers Confederation, in cooperation with
the European International Contractors and the Portuguese
Civil Construction and Public Works Industrial Federation,
with the contribution of the EU-Africa Business Forum
and with the high patronage of the EU Portuguese Presidency
and the European Commission. |

| Through EU-Africa Summit
to EU-Africa Business Summit 2007 |
|
Access to the venue is limited to accredited
media representatives. Media representatives accredited
to EU-Africa Summit are also automatically accredited
to EU-Africa Business Summit 2007. On-line
accreditation
to EU-Africa Business Summit is possible. However, this
accreditation does not give access to the EU-Africa political
Summit premises.
Deadline for Accreditation requests: 5 December
2007
Accreditation at a meeting venue is possible but is likely
to be a time-consuming process. |

| To receive your badge, you must present
a valid press card or a letter from your editor and an
official identity card (a passport or other official document
with a photograph). |

|
| Media representatives are requested
to make their own travel arrangements and accommodation

| The EU-Africa Business Summit 2007
takes place at the Lisbon International Fair Meeting Centre,
in Lisbon (in front of the Political Summit). |

| Access to the Press
Conference premises |
|
The right to access of media representatives
is based on the badge granted in connection with official
accreditation to the EU- Africa Summit and photo identification
or accreditation exclusively to the EU- Africa Business
Summit.
Registration at the conference venue begins on 7 December
at 2:30 p.m. |

| Conference materials for journalists
available at the Press registration Desk. Upon arrival
at the conference venue, just after the registration,
media representatives will receive the media guide, conference
programme, list of participants, essential background
papers and other material related to the conference, as
well as various brochures regarding Portugal. |

| Taking pictures within
the Auditorium |
|
Only the host photographers may move
around the Auditorium in order to take pictures. These
pictures will be available free of charge from:

| Joint Business Declaration |
|
At the conclusion of the conference,
a Joint Business Declaration will be distributed to media
representatives. The document will also be available from
the EU-Africa Business Summit website:

The Media Centre in the Lisbon International
fair will be open:
